Look at me!!!

Hunter has started standing up against the couch by himself. He wants to walk so bad, but he just won't crawl. He just rolls wherever he wants to go.
Madison and her friends washed my car today. They had a lot of fun, but they quit on me half way through so I had to finish it myself.

Vacation in Florida

We just got back from vacation in South Florida. We had a great time visiting with family and friends. Madison and Hunter enjoyed ever minute with Papa and Gammy. Madison didn't want to leave. She said Papa and Gammy would miss her too much. Mike and I enjoyed dinner with our friends Jeremy and Jeanine and their two boys Zack and Ryan. The kids and I spent Monday with my best friend Jill and her little boy Ryan. We are so blessed to have friends that we can go so long with out seeing them and when we're together again it's like we never left. We stuffed ourselves at Grandma and Grandpa's house on Monday night. The kids love their great-grandparents. What a gift to have them in our lives. I really enjoy watching Madison and Hunter love on their great-grandparents! How many kids get that opportunity? I could go on and on, but we enjoyed all of you and miss you already.

Hunter Had Pictures Taken

We had Hunter's pictures taken today. He is so handsome if I do say so myself. Daddy likes the baseball picture the best.

Hunter's 1st bath in the sink

Hunter is growing so fast! Too fast for me. His baby tub was getting a little small for him so Mommy decided to give him a bath in the kitchen sink. He had a lot of fun while soaking the kitchen, Mommy and Madison. Big sister loves to help with Hunter and Hunter loves his big sister.

Madison's 4th Birthday

Madison had a great birthday week! It started on Wednesday when Mommy came to her school with cookies for her class. Thursday night we picked up Gammy and Papa at the airport. Madison waited all day for them to arrive. Friday we went to the Apple Cake Tea Room for lunch, and Wassabi's for dinner. Both places sent out cake and sang Happy Birthday. Finally on Saturday Madison's friends came for a party at our house. We were supposed to have the party at the park, but the weather didn't cooperate. That was okay though, the kids didn't know the difference and had a lot of fun.

Winter or Spring?

This has been an odd winter. We got a dusting of snow on Saturday and by Monday afternoon we were playing in the warm sun. Madison's friend Tyson came over to play yesterday. He brought Hunter over his first Tennessee Titans hat. Hunter had his 6 month visit to the doctor yesterday as well. He now weighs 22lbs. 14oz. and is 28 1/2in. long. We are already getting phone calls from college recruiters, but they are just going to have to wait until he can walk. Look for Madison's 4th birthday pictures to come next week.

Baby Dedication

Children are a blessing from the Lord. Mike and I were excited to have Hunter dedicated this past Sunday at church, just as we had dedicated Madison when she was born. Our pastor gave a challenge and prayed for our family. We are excited to see what God has in store for this amazing little boy.

A Visit from Uncle Tim & Aunt Melissa

My cousin Melissa and her husband Tim came to visit us for a long weekend. We were excited about their visit and couldn't wait for them to get here; and now its Sunday evening and they are already headed home to South Florida.
Aunt Melissa took Madison for her first manicure and pedicure. Madison thought it was great and plans on getting another manicure and pedicure when Gammy gets here for her birthday. Hunter enjoyed bonding with Uncle Tim. He really latched on to him and thought his Uncle Tim was great.
We always enjoy a visit from family. Madison will wear you out however if you come, so rest up if you plan on visiting us.

The Kids are Growing Fast

I can't believe how fast the kids are growing.  My mom is always saying she doesn't know where the time went.  I know what she means now.  We had Madison's first parent/teacher conference last week. Her teacher said she is doing great and is ready to go on to 4K!  We will be signing her up next week for the fall.  She will go to school 3 days a week.  Hunter is also reaching new milestones every day!  Last month he began rolling over, and eating cereal from a spoon.  (The milk wasn't cutting it!)  Just last night he had his first taste of peas. He seemed to like them.  I am making my own baby food this time.  We'll see how long that lasts!
