Family Dinner Out

Mom and Dad took us all out for a great Christmas dinner Sunday night. Before all the hustle began they wanted us just to sit and enjoy each other out at a nice restaurant. Of coarse that also lent itself to a great picture opportunity. So here's some great pictures from the night.

Christmas Pictures

It's been a long time since I've had a chance to blog. We have had a lot going on. We spent Thanksgiving with the Harris family in Virginia and had a great time. Madison and Hunter loved running all over Memaw and Poppy's farm house. Madison really enjoyed playing outside with her cousins. We stayed 2 nights with Sherrie and Allen and 2 nights with Dan. Thanks everyone for a great time. On our way home on Sunday Hunter got sick with a virus. Hunter was sick for about 6 days and then we started all over again with Madison getting sick. We finally made it out for Christmas pictures and I just got my Christmas cards out early this week. My parents arrived in Tennessee last night and the kids can't wait for Christmas day. I hope everyone has a safe and healthy holiday! For the family we are not with this Christmas, we will miss you and we love you very much! Merry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!

Our Trip to Disney World!

We had an amazing time at Disney World last week. My parents met us for the weekend, Tim and Melissa came over Monday, and then the rest of the week the four of us continued to have a great time with Mickey! Madison dressed up like Snow White and went to Cinderella's Ball and had breakfast with Chef Mickey. Madison and Hunter loved the parades and fireworks the best. We had a great kid's pool at our hotel. Hunter had no fear and jumped right in. Madison was a little reluctant at first but once we convinced her to give it a try we couldn't get her out. It was a great week and I can't wait to do it again!

Generations

I feel so blessed to still have my grandparents in my life. They have been a big influence in my life and I'm so glad that they get to be a part of my children's lives. While they were here in Knoxville this week we decided to go have the kids pictures taken with them. We had a special picture taken of Hunter and my grandpa. My grandpa's name is James Hunter and we named Hunter after him, Hunter James. (No, I did not have another baby. The adorable little baby grandma is holding is my nephew JD.)

Hunter Cut His Locks!

Hunter got his first haircut today. His curly locks were getting too long so Mommy, sister, Aunt Danielle, and JD took him today to get it cut. He looks like such a handsome big boy now. He was very proud of his new look. He has been strutting his stuff ever since we left the shop. I can't wait for Daddy to get home and see him. He will love his tough guy look!

Hunter's First of Many Bruises

Hunter got his first bruise today. He was playing ball outside and went face first into the driveway. He gave mommy a scare but he was fine. He's a tough guy! Also thought I'd share pictures of Madison and Hunter last Saturday. Just thought they were cute!

Madison's First Soccer Game

Madison had her first soccer game today. She did so great! She played almost the entire game. Some kids on the team didn't want to play so, they didn't have enough substitutes. Madison kept asking to stay out on the field, so they let her. I was so proud of my little athlete! She may still want to be a "shaker" (cheerleader) some day, but I'm pretty sure for now she's enjoying soccer!
