Madison Our Little Dancer

I am so proud of Madison. She has become quite the little dancer. She performed in a Christmas dance and they did a tap number to the song Hot Chocolate. She was awesome!!!

My Little Gym Bug

Hunter loves to play in the bug room at the dance studio where Madison takes lessons. They had a Christmas party on Friday so I took a few pictures while we were waiting to watch Madison dance.

The Basement is Finished!

Mike has worked on the basement for about 3 years now. He has done almost the entire thing himself. He started with framing and then had some help with the electric from Dan. Hung the drywall, mud and taped, sanded and painted. (I did help with some of the painting!) Dan put the tile in the bathroom and Mike finished up the plumbing. Last weekend my Dad helped with some of the finishing touches with the paint on Thanksgiving day. It has been a lot of hard work, but it has been well worth it! We can't wait for our first guests to come and stay down there. Melissa, Tim and D.J., you are first. Then we are also looking forward to Dan arriving Christmas day. We will have a full house over the holiday's but we can now say we have plenty of room.

Mike and the kids had roses sent to the house yesterday for my birthday! They were so beautiful I thought I would share them with everyone!

Thanksgiving Day

We decided not to travel this year for Thanksgiving. We have just about completed the basement and carpet is due to be put in the first week in Dec. My brother and his family went to FL to spend Thanksgiving with Danielle's family, so we were going to have Thanksgiving for 4 until my parents decided to come to TN for a week and spend Thanksgiving with us!!! We were very excited and happy to have family to celebrate with. Mike and Dad worked in the basement all day and Mom and I cooked and played with the kids. It was a great day and we have a lot to be thankful for!

Halloween

Madison was very excited this year to be a bumble bee! She had her costume on at 4:00 ready to go. Hunter loves Mickey Mouse and wore his costume around the house days before Halloween, but when it was time to go out to trick or treat he decided he did not want to be Mickey at all!!! So in a last minute costume change he was a UT football player. He was very proud of his UT Football outfit. I think he has chosen his team loyalty.
My mom and dad were here all weekend and we all had a great time together! We have to take them to the airport in a few hours, but I think we'll just hold them hostage here in Knoxville. The kids love having Papa and Gammy around all the time.

Hunter's Second Birthday

We just had Hunter's second birthday party! I can't believe it has been 2 years already since he was born. Hunter loves Mickey Mouse, so we had a MIckey Mouse club house party. Uncle Mike and Aunt Elise sent him a Birthday Mickey. He has slept with it every night since it came in the mail!
